The institute stands on Kakatpur-Nimapara road near Charichhak in the district of puri amidst vast extending green fields with natural abundance of picturesque phenomena. The college its name after the name of Paribrajacharya Sri Sri thakur Nigamananda, the renowned saint and social reformer of India. Charichhak, as the name implies is situated where four road intersects.
